Festival Napa Valley is seeking hosts for talented emerging professional level musician(s) between 20 and 35 years of age who will study and perform July 5 – 22, 2019. As a thank you, host families enjoy exclusive access to various Festival events.
Festival Napa Valley’s Blackburn Music Academy is one of America’s leading training ensembles for emerging collegiate, graduate and post-graduate musicians. 90 Academy musicians participate in chamber music concerts with faculty members, orchestral concerts and workshops, sectionals, and other professional development sessions with Festival Napa Valley artists.

Festival Napa Valley offers a tuition-free orchestra training program that attracts students from some of the most famous music institutions including Juilliard, Curtis Institute of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, and many more. This year, we continue the Academy’s unique Host Family program as part of our effort to further involve the Napa Valley community in the excitement of Festival Napa Valley. Housing one of our students is an extremely unique experience that allows participants to truly get to know budding professional classical musicians.
