The Napa Chamber of Commerce Announces Formation of the Government Affairs and Policies Committee (GAP)

The Napa Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors have unanimously voted to prioritize a renewed focus of the organization's advocacy outreach efforts with the formation of the NCC Government Affairs and Policies Committee (GAP).

The purpose of GAP remains to identify, study, and analyze legislative and public policy issues concerning the business community, as well as matters affecting the future social and economic progress of the City and County of Napa.

The GAP Committee replaces the former NCC Legislative Action Committee. James Krider, former longtime Napa City Council member and Planning Commissioner, will serve as the Board Chair. NCC Board Members, John Evans (Silverado Resort and Spa), Paul Hicks (Payroll Masters), Mike Murray (Napa Recycling & Waste), Kevin Teague (Holman Teague Roche Anglin), and Greg Cole with all participate on the committee.

The remaining GAP members were nominated by their industry peers, and vetted and approved by the NCC Board. Meetings will be held on the third or fourth Wednesday of every month with rotating locations TBD.
