This past year has probably been one of the more challenging ones in recent memory. The Chambers of Commerce of the Napa Valley have joined forces to bring the business community a “blueprint for small business” in the upcoming Napa County Economic Outlook for 2009 – to help guide all of us and help us “thrive in the free market.”

Back by popular demand, Senior Vice President for Investment Management and Trust for Mechanic Bank, Brian Pretti, will share his knowledgeable insights into the overall national economy, what the future may hold and how business people today should be planning for tomorrow. His predictions from last year’s Economic Outlook were “right on” and anyone who took his advice last year was prepared for the jump in fuel costs and the decline of the housing market.
