Description
The Napa Valley Art Association is a private, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Napa Valley by supporting arts and culture throughout the county. We provide funding, advocacy, marketing and exhibition opportunities for local artists. Napa Valley Open Studios is one program held the last two weekends of September each year (see www.napavalleyopenstudios.com). NVAA also sponsors a cooperative, Artists of the Valley Gallery, 1307 First Street in Downtown Napa, exhibiting the work of over 50 local artists. Open daily 10am-6pm with live music on Friday and Saturday from 6-9pm. A percentage of all income generated through the NVAA activities is dedicated to art education scholarships for the high schools of Napa Valley.
